Fishing report July 8 - 14:
Pictured is the biggest muskie caught so far this year. Here is Jordan Knutson (and guide Bill Luney) with Jordan's 50 incher; Jordan's muskie is almost as big as she is!
Weather has been warm the past few week; day-time temperatures are in the low-to-mid 80's and overnight is still cooling into the low 60's. The surface water temperature in 81 degrees. Guides report that walleyes are on mid-lake humps in 20 - 30 feet of water and muskies are in weedy bays. Northerns are being caught by trolling mid-lake humps and bass are on broken rock shorelines.

Greg Doerfler (Winfield, IL), a 22 inch walleye
Kerry Klimes (Phoenix, AZ), a 42 inch muskie
Jordan Klimes (Willow Springs, IL), a 34 inch northern and 35 and 33 inch muskies
Monte Abbott (Wheaton, IL), a 23 inch walleye and 33 and 30 inch northerns
