Jennifer Hesli and Dick Ward I caught
this muskie with a ¼ ounce jig on 8 pound test line with no wire
leader.
I worked that jig and minnow so well
that the muskie couldn’t refuse.
And I caught a 34 inch northern the next day on
the same jig in the exact same
place!
Now that’s an expert fisherman.
One of the best trips we’ve had since our first
trip here in 1995.
Fishing and service were excellent.

As always, your staff is so very attentive to
our needs and are always there to assist us.

he was very knowledgeable and kept us

 Hi Dave and Sheree! I have enclosed a picture of the walleye I caught while staying with you at Duck Bay Lodge. The fish measured 31 inches and weighed 11 pounds. And is currently being mounted here in Eagle River. I must tell you that catching this fish was only a bonus when you consider the fantastic vacation I had. I was so very impressed with the service and the accommodations that I have found myself thinking or talking about this vacation constantly! I will definitely be visiting you again. Please give my best regards to all the staff, from the guides to the fine people that took care of our cabin and served us such great food in the lodge. My hat is off to all of you! Betsy and Elmer Ellis Tyler, TX  Dear Dave and Sheree, Here are two happy fishermen in Burrow Bay one evening in May. Steve Strand is holding the paddle used for muskie measurement - notice his fingers on the 41 ¾ inch notch. We had a delightful time landing this memory maker while trying to preserve the fish. It was caught on barbless hooks, we took a quick measurement and picture, and back into the cool water within 90 seconds. The fish rested quietly and promptly swam off to spread the alarm to others in the bay. The Strand party had a wonderful time this May. Thank you for all of your special touches. They were appreciated. My wife Ruby, Grandson Steven and I are looking forward to walleye fishing with you in June. To all at Duck Bay - thanks again and have a great summer. Dear Dave and Sheree, I want to thank you for yet another memorable fishing vacation. It will be difficult to single out any one event, well perhaps the 50" musky which I caught and released. It was a real honor to have handled a fish that has survived and grown to near my age.
