2006 Fishing
Diary
Week of May 21st - 27th:
Duck Bay Lodge is now open and fishing season is underway. With
the early spring, everything is green and the weather is
unseasonably nice. The last few days have been in the high 60's
and low 70's, although the evenings are still cooling down and
require a jacket. By the end of the week we had a day of
much-needed rain.
Our first guests of the season have had great fishing for all
species - walleye, northern, smallmouth bass and crappie. Guests Jace
and Tom McDonald (Middleton, WI) caught over 100 fish
during their 4 day stay. The guides are reporting that they are
having a lot of action; their guests are catching 25 - 45
