Fishing report: June 12 - 18

The week starts out with a day of rain and heavy cloud, but then turns to a mix of sun and cloud. The fish are biting, so life is good. The Kim Norton/Howell/Phillips group caught over 300 fish in 1 1/2 days!
Walleyes are being found off rock points and the side of sand pockets in 8 - 12 feet of water. Northern pike are in shallow weed lines and are biting best on spinner baits and Repps. Bass are spawning and are on the rocky shorelines. Muskie fishing opens next Saturday!
