Fishing report: September 4 - 11

Guide report:
Walleyes are being caught in 15-20 feet of water on points leading into sand bays; black or pink ¼ ounce jigs tipped with minnows are bringing them in. Northern pike are on points in 10-12 feet of water and being caught on spinner baits or rattle traps. Bass are in 10-15 feet of water. Muskies are on deep rock piles; bucktails in black / orange or black / silver are hot. Crappies are being caught in large quantities in 20-30 feet of water.

Robert Layton (Whitehouse, TX), a 22 inch walleye
Dale Schlaht (Calgary, AB), his first muskie ever - 42 inches
Sarah Szymanski (Bolingbrook, IL), with guide Jimmy, raised 6 muskies in 1 hour and lost a mid-40's right at the boat
Dave Berg (River Falls, WI), an 18 inch smallmouth; and over 50 walleyes in one day with wife Lynn and guide Bill
George Van Dam (Detroit Lakes, MN), 17 and 16 inch smallmouth bass
Lou Nicpon (Bolingbrook, IL), 41 and 30 inch muskies and 35 and 30 inch northern pike
