Most guests get a thrill out of the wildlife they see, whether it is birds or bigger animals. Here is a nice picture of pelicans taken by guest Eric Schaaf.

We have a group of guests in this week who have traveled all the way from China to be here. They are preparing some of their traditional dishes as an appetizer. Here is Lan and Yan preparing a spicy fish dish. It was spicy, but also very flavorful and delicious!

On her recent trip, guest Chengyin Liu took many photos of the Lake of the Woods area. She then painted some as watercolors and shared them with us. This one was taken in Stevens Bay.

Pictured is Pat O'Brien with a 48 inch muskie. Pat and fishing partner Steve Kruse caught 3 muskies in a 2 hour period - this 48 inch, a 40 and 36 inch.

Every sunset is different on Lake of the Woods, all of them glorious. Staff Heidi Emond takes a sunset picture every evening and this is one she has shared.
