We arrived at Duck Bay Lodge on Wednesday May 10th. The weather has been absolutely wonderful as we clean and prepare the camp for the arrival of the first guests next Thursday.

A few more days until we move to the lake! It may not look like it, but all this stuff piled in the garage is sort of organized.

The ice went out on the south end of Lake of the Woods last weekend. This is a couple of weeks earlier than usual.

When most people think about fly fishing, they envision fishing in small streams and rivers, frantically whipping a rod back and forth all in the hopes of catching a few small trout. However this is very quickly changing. The popularity of fly fishing is rising, not only for trout, but many other species including northern pike.
