Week ending July 11th:

Bald eagles are one of the most photographed birds on Lake of the Woods. Here is a great picture taken by Terry and Diana Buelow of an eagle with a fish in his claws.
Guide fishing report: Walleyes are being found on mid-lake humps in 25-30 feet of water; green and pink jigs are working well. Northern pike are on the rocks in 6-8 feet of water. Muskies are on rock points in 10-15 feet of water; small bucktails are working best.
