Our week starts with cloudy weather, and temperatures in the 70's. Muskie fishing opened last Saturday and a number are being caught; most popular location is on rock piles. Walleyes are being caught in 20 - 25 feet of water on humps. Northerns are being caught in 4 - 8 feet of water; brightly colored Repps are "hot".

  • Sannah Lohmiller (Crosslake, MN), a 27 inch walleye
  • George Van Dam (Detroit Lakes, MN), a 40 inch northern
  • Stephanie Norton (Sidney, NE), a 39 ½ inch northern
  • Kim Norton (Sidney, NE), a 46 ½ inch muskie
  • Grant Van Dam (Lakeville, MN), a 20 inch walleye
  • John Hardy (Oklahoma City, OK), a 39 inch northern and 17 ½ inch smallmouth bass
