Week ending September 29th

This is our last week of the season open to guests; it is unbelievable how quickly the summer has flown by! Over the weekend the weather was in the 60's; the last few days daytime temperatures have been in the low 70's, with overnight temperatures in the 50's.
Guide report:
Walleyes are being caught in 25 - 30 feet of water along rocky shores and sand flats. Northern pike are being caught around lily pads and pencil reeds. Muskies are being found on rock points, reefs and areas with current. The water temperature is 57 degrees.

Ken Gregie (Bloomingdale, IL), two 35 inch northerns and a 36 inch northern
Duck Bay guide Chris Manley, a 40 inch muskie
Harold Heather (Genoa, IL), a 35 inch northern
Scott Piner (St. Charles, IL), 36 and 33 inch northerns
Carl Boutilier (Wheaton, IL) and Marc Hansen (Lee's Summit, MO), over 100 fish in one day including a 25 ½ inch walleye (Carl) and a 36 inch northern and 20 inch walleye (Marc)
Robert Layton (Whitehouse, TX), an 18 inch walleye
Stan Pehling (Apple Valley, MN), a 32 inch northern
Charlene Neumann (Richfield, MN), a 44 inch muskie
