Located on the shores of Hay Island in the heart of Sabaskong Bay, Duck Bay Lodge is perfectly situated in the remote south-east corner of Lake of the Woods.


Being just 70 miles from International Falls, Minnesota, we are easily accessible by plane or automobile. Most guests arrive at our docking area in Morson, Ontario by automobile. At Morson you will be met and transported to Duck Bay Lodge by boat, a scenic 7 mile boat ride. Should you prefer to depart from Nestor Falls, the boat ride is 12 miles.


If you are planning to fly commercially, Northwest Airlines provides service to International Falls. We would be pleased to assist you in arranging ground transportation for the remainder of your journey. If you are planning to enter Canada in your own aircraft, Fort Frances Municipal Airport offers customs service. We'll be happy to assist you with your flight planning.
