Many Duck Bay guests already know me, but for those who don't, I am Phoenix Fathers. I'm 23 years old and was born and raised in Winnipeg. But Duck Bay is my home; I have grown up fishing Lake of the Woods for as long as I can remember. From the amount of time I have spent hunting, fishing and guiding, I have gotten the chance to grow and befriend and learn from some of the most knowledgeable of people who roam these waters and have passed down only their best to me.
In the off-season I like to spend my time ice fishing, snowmobiling, hunting and trying to stay outdoors as much as I can. My puppy Niko also loves to be outside and will be on the island all season to make sure everyone stays in line and to clean up all the leftovers.
I pride myself on giving you, your friends or family the best Lake of the Woods fishing experience that I can. My passion is to put big fish in the boat no matter the species, so you can expect to have the best time, no matter what you're fishing for at Duck Bay Lodge.
