Our staff handles all the arrangements for you, with service by trusted provider Northwest Flying. From the pickup point at Fort Francis, you’ll go through customs and notify Duck Bay Lodge when you’re cleared for flight. Once your status is confirmed, your plane will depart on your 20-minute flight to our fishing lodge. We do everything in our power to make sure your experience is as seamless and stress-free as possible, giving you the chance to soak in the views and get excited about your fishing trip.

Northwest Flying offers a few options for your fly-in fishing trip, depending on the size of your group or how much legroom you want:

• Cessna 180: Seats up to three guests or 630 lbs. total payload — $725 per trip
• DHC 2 Beaver: Seats up to five guests or 1,200 lbs. total payload — $1,100 per trip
• Beech 18: Seats up to eight guests or 1,800 lbs. total payload — $1,475 per trip

Please note that the weight limitations include the passengers themselves as well as any gear they bring along with them. This does not include the weight of the pilot. Duck Bay Lodge does not have weigh scales at Port Francis, so it is up to guests to ensure they will be within the weight restrictions when choosing the aircraft for their flight. However, for most of our guests this is not a concern, as they rarely bring enough gear to go over the weight limit.
