Fishing report September 24 - 30

Sadly, it is the last week open for the season. The weather has turned seasonably cool with daytime temperatures in the 60's and 50's. But the fish are active and, walleyes in particular, are being caught in large quantity. Some of this weeks nice catches are:

Scott Buckman (Minnetonka, MN), 24 and 23 inch walleyes, a 30 inch northern and 17 inch smallmouth bass
Duck Bay guide Rob Fathers, two 21 inch walleyes
Ken Gregie (Bloomingdale, IL), a 19 inch walleye
Carl Boutilier (Wheaton, IL), a 21 inch walleye and 31 inch northern
Marc Hansen (Lee's Summit, MO), a 20 inch walleye and 30 inch northern
