Week ending August 22nd:

On her recent trip, guest Chengyin Liu took many photos of the Lake of the Woods area. She then painted some as watercolors and shared them with us. This one was taken in Stevens Bay.
Guide report: walleyes are being found in 6 - 8 feet of water along weedy shorelines; windy rigs are working well. Northern pike are in 4 - 8 feet in cabbage weeds; white spinnerbaits are effective., Muskies are in pencil reeds and rock rabble; dark bucktails are raising a lot of fish.
