Week ending August 30th

At the end of last week and beginning of this week, the weather has been gloomy for a few days, but there has been no significant rainfall. By mid-week the days are a nice mix of sun and cloud. Daytime temperatures are in the mid-70's and overnight in the high 50's to mid-60's. The trees are just starting to turn colour with hints of gold.

Guide report:
Walleyes are still steady action, continuing to be found on humps and point extensions. Bass are being caught on rocky points and rock humps. Muskie and northern pike are being caught on rocky points and islands; a few pike are being caught deep jigging for walleye. The water temperature is 72 degrees.
