Week ending August 8th:

All of last week and the beginning of this week had high winds. Late Monday night they finally died down; what a difference it will make in being able to get to the favorite fishing spots! The daytime temperatures are in the low 70's and overnight in the low 60's.

Guide fishing report: Walleyes are moving into the weeds and being found in 8 - 13 feet of water. Northern pike are on rock points leading into the bays. Bass are on rocky shorelines in 5 - 10 feet of water. Muskies are on rock piles and jerk baits and bulldogs are working well.
